A New Jeep Vehicle Will Carry The “Nighthawk” Name
Recently, Stellantis requested a trademark for the name “Nighthawk” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. The Jeep brand is known for using “hawk” for the name of various Jeep models. For example, the Trailhawk name is for different off-road trim levels like the Renegade, Compass, Cherokee, and Grand Cherokee. It’s unclear exactly what vehicle will officially carry the “Nighthawk” name but it could be a future concept vehicle.
2023 Grand Cherokee 4xe
In honor of the 30th anniversary of the most awarded SUV from Jeep, the Grand Cherokee, the automaker released the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition at the 2022 Detroit Auto Show. This new Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe is known for being technologically advanced. It can deliver 25 miles of all-electric range and 56 miles per gallon (MPGe) from a hybrid system that distributes 375 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque and has a max towing capability of 6,000 lbs. The Grand Cherokee is undoubtedly the most awarded SUV in history for its luxuriousness, capabilities, and craftsmanship.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary special edition features dual exhaust, a dual-pane sunroof, 20-inch black wheels, blue tow hooks, and more. In terms of the vehicle’s interior, buyers can find black Capri leather seats, ventilated front seats, front/rear park assist, Intersection Collision Assist, passive entry, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and a digital rearview mirror.
The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary edition has a retail price of $4,700 for the package, on top of the starting MSRP of $39,395 (plus destination fee). Depending on the model of the Grand Cherokee, it can seat five or seven passengers with room to spare. Whether someone purchases the 4xe 30th Anniversary special edition or the original Grand Cherokee 4xe, there will be no disappointment, and Jeep will continue to live up to its impressive name.
2023 Jeep Compass
The 2023 Jeep Compass comes in as the second-cheapest car model after the Renegade, and customers are ready to snatch it up. This new 2023 model has a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine with 200 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque. This is mated to an eight-speed automatic 8F30 transmission. All base trim models have a 10.1-inch touchscreen, Uconnect 5, all-season tires, and cloth low-back bucket seats.

- Latitude trim costs $32,890 (plus destination fee)

- Trailhawk trim costs $36,490 (plus destination fee)
- RED trim costs $38,335 (plus destination fee)
- High Altitude trim costs $39,235 (plus destination fee)
The High Altitude trim offers impressive features, like the three color choices, for an extra $495. Another package is the Driver Assist Group, which costs $2,640, and some of the features include a 360 surround-view camera system, traffic sign recognition, and a wireless charging pad. An Elite Interior Group High Altitude package for an extra $1,645 includes many incredible features. With all these additional add-ons, the fully loaded 2023 Jeep Compass makes the price grow to $43,615 (plus destination fee).
